Leopold Ambjornsson will have to miss the first few races of the MXGP World Championship.
Ambjornsson has been going through a tough period. First, he had to put his preparations on hold due to a painful shoulder. When he resumed his bike training, he suffered a torn Achilles tendon during a session in Italy. He is scheduled for surgery next week, after which his rehabilitation will begin.
Due to this new injury, he won’t be fit in time for the start of the championship and will have to sit out the first few races.
