Fernandez scored maximum in the Spanish Championship in Calatayud and stayed ahead of Jose Butron 4-2 and Ander Valentin 3-3 in the day’s classification. Carlos Campano and Simeo Ubach completed the top five. Jose Butron secured the Spanish title for the sixteenth time in his career.
The MX2 class was won by Gerard Congost 2-1 ahead of Adria Monne 1-2 and Elías Escandell 3-3. The title went to Congost for the second time in his career.
Daniela Guillen won both heats in the women’s race and took the win ahead of Jana Sánchez 2-2 and Virginie Germond 3-3. Guillen managed to win the Spanish women’s title with this double victory.
Salvador Perez managed to take the title in the MX2 class.
