Social Spot: Sneak Peek V

A small glimpse at what the future looks like

· 2 minutes read

Before social media, fans had to wait until the pre-season internationals begun to see the Grand Prix riders in their new colours for the first time. Those days are long gone now though. A few guys have already shared photos of how they will look when the next term of the FIM Motocross World Championship fires into life, for instance, and those posts are below. This has been a regular feature on MX Vice throughout the off-season.

Jeremy Van Horebeek

Jeremy Van Horebeek has not secured a ride for the 2019 FIM Motocross World Championship yet, but he will be riding for the SR Honda squad at the Le Touquet beach race on the first weekend in Feburary. Van Horebeek is now putting the CRF450R through its paces in the sand, ahead of what may be his final race at the highest level. Time will tell.

Tommy Searle

Tommy Searle is currently testing with BOS Kawasaki ahead of the 2019 FIM Motocross World Championship and, now that the new year has begun, it has become apparent that he will have a new look over the next twelve months. Searle will run UFO gear, Ethen goggles and a Suomy helmet. The only thing that is going to stay the same is TCX boots.

Zach Pichon

Zachary Pichon is going to take a step up in the 2019 FIM Motocross World Championship; he will complete the full MX2 campaign with support from 114 Motorsports Honda. Pichon is also going to run Alpinestars gear, boots and the helmet too. Progrip goggles will complete his all-new set-up.

Vsevolod Brylyakov

Vsevolod Brylyakov will race for the JWR Yamaha Racing team when the new season, which will be his first in the MXGP class, fires into life. How does he look on the bigger bike? Brylyakov has stated that things are going even better than he expected, so everything sounds like it is going well over at JWR.

Mitchell Evans

How does Mitchell Evans look on his new 114 Motorsports Honda? The first video of him in action was released in the last week or so. Although this is the first clip of him in red, he has actually been in Europe for a little less than a month now. He is going to have plenty of time on the CRF250R by the time that the gate drops at the Grand Prix of Patagonia-Argentina.
