Jake Millward has had a difficult time of it recently and consequently found himself without a ride when the previous term drew to a close. It was obviously a stressful time as his future in the sport hung in the balance. Now, however, he has secured a deal with the Chambers Racing crew that'll allow him to have a fresh start in the premier division.
"Pleased to say I have joined Chambers Racing for the 2019 season," Millward wrote on his social-media accounts. "I'll be competing in the British Championships onboard [sic] a FC 450 in the MX1 class. This bike really is something special!"
Millward ended fifteenth in the MX2 class in the Maxxis British Championship this season, following a turbulent campaign on a privateer Honda. A ninth in the second moto at Canada Heights in April was a season-best finish.
