News: Supercross in 2019

Monster Energy Supercross information

Feld Motorsports confirmed moments ago that Anaheim 2, Detroit and Houston will host Triple Crown events during the upcoming Monster Energy Supercross season. It was confirmed in the same announcement that there is going to be East/West Showdowns in Atlanta and Las Vegas. The rest of the rounds will follow a traditional format.

"We're really looking forward to defending the Triple Crown Championship in 2019," said Eli Tomac, last year's Triple Crown Champion and recent Monster Energy Cup winner. "The team was excited to take home the inaugural championship last year, and the three Main Event format is the same as the Monster Energy Cup, which we just recently won. Of course, the goal is always to win the overall Supercross Championship, but these races should be fun for the fans because they are short, fast and intense."

The Triple Crown Championship was won by Eli Tomac this year, as mentioned above, then Jeremy Martin and Adam Cianciarulo took the victories at the two East/West rounds. Indianapolis play host to one of this year, but will be replaced by Atlanta when the new season fires into life. "I think the East/West Showdowns are really cool and a fun change in the schedule, especially for the fans," said Christian Craig of GEICO Honda. "The best part is probably finding out which coast is more dominant or if they are pretty even."

Sixteen of the seventeen Monster Energy Supercross track maps were released earlier today as well. Those can be viewed elsewhere on MX Vice.
