It is about time! Following weeks of speculation and confusion, the three riders who will represent Great Britain at the Motocross of Nations have been confirmed. Tommy Searle (MXGP), Ben Watson (MX2) and Max Anstie (Open) will travel to RedBud in October to represent GB.
Max Anstie needs no introduction, especially after that incredible ride at the Motocross of Nations last year, and the same goes for Tommy Searle, who has led Great Britain into battle countless times. Ben Watson, of the Kemea Yamaha squad, will race at the prestigious event for the first time, but has really broken through this season and finished on the overall podium in the FIM Motocross World Championship for the first time earlier this year. Watson currently runs fourth in the MX2 series.
Do you agree with the picks that were made? Jake Nicholls explained just how disappointed he is in a statement yesterday. Mark Chamberlain also confirmed the many issues that he faced when selecting the team in an exclusive interview on MX Vice earlier this month. Let us know what you think on social media (motocrossvice on Twitter and MXVice.com on Facebook)!
