The announcements are coming in thick and fast! Following the news that Team France have selected their three riders for the Motocross of Nations, Team Germany have just confirmed their squad. Ken Roczen (MXGP), Henry Jacobi (MX2) and Max Nagl (Open) will travel to RedBud in October.
Germany have often struggled to find three solid riders who can contest the Motocross of Nations, but have obviously not had that problem this time around. Henry Jacobi was the missing link. Jacobi has been a breakthrough star in the FIM Motocross World Championship this year and even finished in third overall at the fourth round, the Grand Prix of Trentino, in April. Ken Roczen obviously needs no introduction and Max Nagl has been consistent this season, despite the fact that he is now piloting a TM. Nagl is currently dealing with a finger injury, but will be back very soon.
Germany limped to twentieth overall at the Motocross of Nations last year, after Max Nagl sustained an injury and could not compete. Henry Jacobi and Dennis Ullrich, who has been dropped from the team this time around, carried the nation.
