Following a small break, MXGP will spring back into life at the spectacular circuit of Pietramurata this weekend. The Grand Prix of Trentino may have only returned to the schedule a handful of seasons ago, but it has already become one of the most poignant stops on the calendar. So, with that in mind, you will undoubtedly want to follow the action from the comfort of your own home. This feature has all of the information that you need to do that.

Information

– The MX Vice team are already at the Grand Prix of Trentino, held at Pietramurata, and will be covering the event extensively from this point on. There will be reports, analysis, opinions, interviews, images, podcasts, videos and much more across all channels. Follow motocrossvice on Twitter and mxvice on Instagram for more from round four of MXGP. MX Vice will be your hub for this weekend.

– Seeing as we are at the track and have a better look at the action than what you will get on your television, we will be providing updates all-weekend long. Connection will not be a problem so, with that in mind, you should load up this page now and prepare to visit it frequently across the weekend.

– Do you want to feel closer to the action, but sit on your couch at the same time? Of course. Fantasy MX Manager, the ultimate motocross game, is based around the FIM Motocross World Championship for the second year in succession and offers fans the chance to win some incredible prizes. 24MX have put up £20,000 worth of vouchers and it is even free to enter. What more could you want?

– How can you watch the action this weekend? MXGP-TV will have the qualifying races live, as well as the motos and some bonus content. It costs a small amount, but is more than worth it now that all of the previous races are archived. There is more than enough content on there to keep you entertained.

– It is not snowing, which is a major bonus after what we experienced at Valkenswaard. Temperatures are going to hover around twenty degrees this weekend, so it will be pleasant. It will not be so hot that riders struggle with fatigue though.

– Those of us in Europe are currently one hour ahead of the United Kingdom, which means that fans in Southern California are eight hours behind. What if you are at the thirteenth round of Monster Energy Supercross in Seattle? There is a time difference of nine hours. Australian residents in Sydney are nine hours ahead of us too, so please adjust the timetable accordingly. The one above is based on local time.

Brian Bogers to join Fantic Factory Racing MXGP From Riola

Published

on

Brian Bogers Fantic 2024
Brian Bogers scored his first GP podiums in the MX2 class in 2016 and 2017 and made an early switch to the premier class in 2018 at only 21 years of age. After successfully overcoming a string of injuries, it was in 2022 when the Dutchman enjoyed his best season so far. Bogers placed sixth in the MXGP World Championship as one of the top-ranked riders and made his childhood dream come true with a superb GP win in the deep, punishing sand of Lommel, home of Motocross. The 27-year-old from Eindhoven will be looking to achieve more success in Fantic Factory colours.
Brian Bogers:
“I am a very lucky guy at the moment because I never thought that I would still get the chance to race in MXGP this season. Therefore, you can imagine that I don’t only take this opportunity with both hands but with both hands and feet! Thank you to Fantic Factory Racing MXGP for this amazing opportunity, I am very motivated and focused to let this work.”
Louis Vosters, Team Owner:
“Brian Bogers needs no introduction, winning a MXGP overall in Lommel on arguably the most demanding track on the calendar speaks for itself. Together with Fantic and our proven MXGP team, we are sure he can be a regular frontrunner at the top of our sport. The first training sessions have been going well, he is adapting well to the bike and we are looking forward to seeing Brian line up on the Fantic XXF 450 very soon.”
Mariano Roman, CEO Fantic Motor SpA:
“We are thrilled that a stand-out rider like Brian Bogers joins our Fantic family. We have followed his strong performance on track over the last years and we are sure he will make us proud. Alongside his fellow Dutchman Glenn Coldenhoff, we are confident to pull off a great season on our return to the highly competitive MXGP class.”

Published

Once again, our resident stats guru, Paul Pearcy, provides a breakdown of the MX2 class going into Intu Xanadu. Famed more for its access to a shopping mall and McDonald’s than actual passing, the MX2 contenders will be looking to make their mark. Last year, Simon Laengenfelder reigned supreme and was unstoppable on Sunday, with no rider able to match his pace. If you were a betting man, who would be your winner?
