The final piece of the Benoit Paturel controversy is in place. Paturel, a fairly reserved individual, has released a statement on social media regarding the post that BOS Suspension dropped. The post was made in French, so again you will have to push through the broken English below.
"Good morning, I discover the official announcement of the early break up of the collaboration I started with BOS," Paturel wrote. "It is regrettable that Mr. Bossard's communication is more efficient with the press than with his pilots. Although it is not necessary to dwell on the termination of this contracts and the reasons for this failed collaboration, I wish Mr. Bossard and his entire team. I don't know what to do with my season. Count on my determination to align me behind a starting grid. Sport, Benoit Paturel."
The statement that BOS Project KTM released can be found elsewhere on MX Vice. To summarise, they mentioned that Paturel was not overly pleased with his SX-F 450 and refused to test. Those allegations are obviously not tackled in the statement above, so it remains to be seen if there is any truth to that. We have attempted to grab an exclusive chat with Paturel, but have been unsuccessful thus far.
