Following months of uncertainty, Benoit Paturel has finally landed a contract for his maiden season in the premier division. It was announced this evening that Paturel, who the Grand Prix of Switzerland in the MX2 class earlier this year, has signed a deal with the BOS Suspension KTM team.
In a statement, which was released on social media in his native language, Paturel thanked the team and stated that his goal for this season is to gain experience across the twenty rounds. The team are hopeful that there will be a good atmosphere beneath the awning, seeing as he already knows Jordi Tixier. Tixier will, of course, lead the new squad into action and recently debuted for them at the Paris SX.
Paturel endured a turbulent campaign in the MX2 class this year and did not meet expectations. An internal injury sidelined him through the final three rounds, which ultimately restricted him to fifth in the series standings.
