The Hawkstone International is still more than two months away, but some high-profile names have already confirmed that they will tackle the historic circuit. Jeffrey Herlings and Max Anstie were previously announced, as you may have seen on MX Vice, and it has been confirmed that a few more stars will join them.
Tommy Searle will travel to the sandy venue with Monster Energy DRT Kawasaki, which will undoubtedly please a majority of fans. "I'm looking forward to racing at the Hawkstone International for my first race of 2018," he said in a press release. "It is a great track and I can't wait to be there, as it's always one of the biggest races in the UK. It's always great to race in front of the British fans. Bring it on." Searle missed the event this year with a knee injury.
Pauls Jonass will join his Red Bull KTM teammate, Jeffrey Herlings, in the United Kingdom too. "I'm very excited to race again at the Be Wiser Hawkstone International," he said. "2017 was my first year to the circuit and I really enjoyed the race, so I'm looking forward to coming back and having some good, strong races in 2018." Jonass tackled the event for the first time earlier this year and won the overall in MX2, so is eager to return.
Jake Nicholls, Josiah Natzke and Brad Anderson will also head to the event. What about the domestic guys? RFX Crescent Yamaha and Rob Hooper Racing Yamaha will be present with all of their riders. More updates are expected in the near future.
