Great news has dropped for American fans, especially seeing as Thomas Covington and Darian Sanayei should be major players in the FIM Motocross World Championship next year. Youthstream have agreed on a new deal with CBS Sports, which will ensure that the MXGP and MX2 races will be broadcast in the United States and Canada. The new contract spans across multiple years and comes following six successful years of partnership.
"The continuation for the years to come of this agreement tells itself how solidly the collaboration between MXGP and CBS Sports Network has developed," said Mario Marini. Mario acts as the director of corporate relations at Youthstream. "This renewal is crucial for us to assure continuity and ease of access to our races on television to the vast legion of U.S. and Canadian MXGP viewers thanks to the consistency provided by CBS Sports Network in programming the MXGP races at key sport prime-time hours."
The races will continue to be broadcast on a same-day basis in the United States and Canada next year. The Monster Energy Motocross of Nations, on the other hand, will air live.
