Although Jed Beaton only completed four rounds in MX2 with Honda HRC this season, he made quite the impact and eventually landed on the podium at Villars sous Ecot. It is hardly surprising, with that in mind, that he has landed a full-time deal in the FIM Motocross World Championship for 2018.
The Australian will sit alongside Adam Sterry beneath the F&H Kawasaki awning. "I'm really excited about signing with the F&H Kawasaki Racing Team," Beaton said in a press release "It's a very good team and I’m keen to see how the team and I can build coming into and through the 2018 season."
Beaton competed in the EMX250 series before moving up to the MX2 class and endured an inconsistent term. A second in a moto was his strongest showing, along with a pair of fourths.
