Jamie Carpenter has slid under the radar in recent months, as he has been recovering from a torn ACL that was sustained at the second round of the Maxxis British Championship in April. That put an end to his year, which was his maiden campaign in the MX2 division, but he now has his sights firmly fixed on the upcoming 2018 season.
"Happy to announce that I have my 2018 plans in place, aboard a Holeshot Grecnstar Kawasaki," Carpenter wrote on social media. "A big thanks to Liam and the rest of the guys at Holeshot Motocross, along with my other fantastic sponsors for helping me put a great package together for next year. Not long now and I'll be back putting in the laps," he concluded. It seems that there is still no confirmation as to when he'll be able to hop onto a bike again.
Jamie Carpenter won the MXY2 championship a year ago, then scored seven points in his MX2 debut at round one of the Maxxis British Championship in March.
