Team HRC held a special media event at the Belgian Grand Prix, which allowed them to unveil the 2018 CRF250R for the first time in Europe. The various details and improvements that have been made, which can be viewed in detail elsewhere on MX Vice, were run through, then an interesting titbit emerged. The bike will make its international debut at the MXGP of the USA at the beginning of September.
Michele Cervellin is expected to be alone beneath the HRC MX2 awning at that event, so will be the only rider to race the machine in anger. Cervellin will be equipped for the challenge entering the seventeenth round of the FIM Motocross World Championship, as he has recently carried out thorough tests on the machine in Japan.
Cervellin, who currently sits eleventh in the series standings, has been rather ill recently and actually visited hospital for extensive checks.
