Christian Craig attempted to return to racing at High Point this past weekend, but discovered that the hand injury that he sustained at Glen Helen just wasn't strong enough. Now, five days on from the race, he has decided to also skip Muddy Creek in an attempt to return to full-strength.
"Unfortunately won't be lining up for Muddy Creek this weekend," Craig wrote on social media. "I was hoping my hand would hold up longer last weekend at High Point, but it was still too weak. I'm going to take this weekend's race off and be back at Red Bud. Doing everything I can to build more strength in it by riding and therapy. We will be good to go shortly!"
Christian Craig nows sits sixteenth in the 450MX class in Lucas Oil Pro Motocross and has a total of thirty-seven points to his name.
