Steve Matthes, our contributor in the United States, reported in his column yesterday that Dean Wilson has signed an extension with the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing team. Matthes reports that the deal will take him into 2018 and then leave him with an option in 2019.
"Real cool story brewing here for the #15 and the Rockstar Husqvarna team have rewarded him with a new deal for 2018, with an option for 2019," Matthes wrote. "Remember, at the first four supercrosses Wilson was out of a van in the back of the pits with his dad wrenching so good for him for these results and locking up a factory bike deal."
No official announcement has been made by Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing yet. Following a pair of fourths at the first two Lucas Oil Pro Motocross rounds, Wilson currently runs fifth in the 450MX standings.
