Simon Längenfelder won the MX2 class at the MXGP of Andalusia. The German was the strongest in the second moto and, as a result, also secured the overall Grand Prix victory.
Coenen finished second in the second moto, with Camden McLellan taking third place.
Once again, Sacha Coenen grabbed the holeshot in the second moto, but he went down in the early stages and dropped back to fourth place. This handed the lead to Simon Längenfelder, who never looked back. Coenen fought back strongly to finish second, ahead of Camden McLellan and Liam Everts.
Karlis Alberts Reisulis finished fourth in the second moto. Kay Karssemakers was once again the best Dutch rider with a seventh-place finish, Scott Smulders came home eleventh, Lotte van Drunen finished eighteenth again, and Cas Valk retired from the race.
Simon Längenfelder won the Grand Prix with a 2-1 score, ahead of Sacha Coenen (1-2), while Liam Everts also made it onto the podium with a 3-4 result.
