Lucas Coenen wins first MXGP moto of Andalusia

Lucas Coenen won the first moto in Riola Sardo. At the start, the Hondas got off the line very well, with Tom Vialle taking the holeshot ahead of Oriol Oliver and Jeffrey Herlings. Lucas Coenen started the race around tenth place and quickly moved forward, with the Belgian taking the lead from Jeffrey Herlings in the sixth lap.

The Dutchman finished a comfortable second ahead of Romain Febvre and Kay de Wolf. The top five was completed by Ruben Fernandez.

Roan van de Moosdijk crossed the line in thirteenth, while Calvin Vlaanderen finished fifteenth. Rick Elzinga retired early from the race and was classified in 28th place.
