Jeffrey Herlings claimed victory in the MXGP qualifying race after an exciting battle with Romain Febvre. Tim Gajser finished in third place, followed by Tom Vialle in fourth. Lucas Coenen came home in fifth after recovering well from a crash at the start. Andrea Adamo finished sixth, while Kay de Wolf crossed the line in seventh after an impressive charge through the field.
