Emil Ziemer set the fastest time in the 125 class qualifying session in Grevenbroich. Lucas Leok was just a fraction slower and recorded the second-fastest time ahead of Aston Allas. Finn Lange and Tim Schroter set the fourth and fifth fastest times.
Timo Heuver was the best Dutch rider with a 10th-place qualifying result. Jannes Vos qualified 22nd, and Tim Appelo set the 32nd fastest time. Lars Berkelaar unfortunately did not make it through qualifying.
