August Frisk to undergo surgery after new knee problems

August Frisk has suffered another setback following his withdrawal in the second moto of the EMX250 during the MXGP of Switzerland, as he announced today on Instagram.

The Swede is dealing with additional complications in his knee and will need to undergo surgery. Due to the injury, it is still unclear how long his recovery will take. However, Frisk remains determined and motivated to return to racing as soon as possible.

“I will do everything I can to come back as strong and as quickly as possible. As I’ve shown before: I’m a fighter and I don’t give up,” said Frisk.
