Team Honda Maddii Racing ABF Italia – Great Growth and Consistency at the Swiss GP

Frauenfeld (Switzerland) – The third round of the MX2 World Championship and the EMX250 European Championship, held on the challenging Frauenfeld track, confirmed the significant growth path of Team Honda Maddii Racing ABF Italia. The weekend was defined by excellent performances, strong starts, and a clear step forward for the team’s riders.

MX2: Maxime Grau – Fast but Unfortunate

French rider Maxime Grau experienced a weekend of two halves, yet showcased a speed capable of the world’s top 10.

Race 1: A solid performance ending in 9th position, consistently battling with the category’s best.

Race 2: After a very good start and holding steady in 7th position, Maxime was unfortunately hindered by a minor technical issue that forced him to retire while maintaining an excellent pace.

Standings: Despite the forced DNF in Race 2, Grau finished the GP in 14th place overall, confirming great progress made on the Honda.

EMX250: Niccolò Alvisi, a Protagonist in Europe

An excellent weekend for Niccolò Alvisi, who proved he has reached a new level of competitiveness in the EMX250 class.

Performance: After a developmental Race 1, Alvisi was the author of a splendid second moto, which saw him hold 3rd position until just a few laps from the end. Only a small mistake in the final stages caused him to lose a few positions, but the pace shown matched that of the frontrunners.

Standings: Thanks to his consistency, Niccolò concluded the Swiss round with an excellent 8th place overall.

Marco Maddii, Team Manager:

“Overall, it was a good weekend where we made a big step forward with both Alvisi and Maxime. We are very happy with the work done: the guys always started at the front, demonstrating the quality of the setup and preparation. Alvisi touched the podium in Race 2, and Maxime had the pace to comfortably stay in the world top 10. We continue like this, with confidence toward our next commitments”.
