Simon Längenfelder won the first moto in Frauenfeld, with Sacha Coenen finishing second ahead of Liam Everts. Championship leader Camden McLellan had to settle for eighth place after a poor start.
Mathis Valin got off to a very strong start, taking the holeshot and leading the race for a long time. Unfortunately, he then encountered a chain problem and was forced to stop on track.
The best-placed Dutch rider was Kay Karssemakers in tenth position, followed by Cas Valk and Jens Walvoort in 11th and 12th place.
