The riders are lining up from all around the world, and Venezuelan Anthony Rodriguez is a serious player. The journeyman racer from Caracas has a super impressive CV, having raced in both FIM World MXGP and Supercross, and in AMA Supercross in the States. Affectionately known as J-Rod by the Americans, he is known for his hard-charging yet fluid style.
A-Rod will be lining up on the all-new MTF (Millsaps Training Facility) team in the international race, managed by Richard Clarke. This team is not coming to mess about. Rodriguez will be 31 when the gate drops in August at the iconic Shropshire Grand Prix circuit.
His accomplishments are many and varied, including
- 3 x South American champion
- 7 x Venezuelan champion
- 13 x Ama amateur national’s champion
- 1 x Loretta Lynns champion
- 5 x Top 5’s in AMA supercross & MXGP
- 7 x MXdN appearances for his country.

VMXdN is the event where legends past and present from around the Globe will take to the line to go bar-to-bar, just like the golden era of ’90s motocross.
The anticipation is off the scale, with a 350% increase in ticket and camping sales compared to the 2025 event to date. It’s no surprise that it is the most talked-about race on the British MX calendar, and the rider announcements have only just begun!
Promoters Rob ‘DocWob’ Walters and Dave King are urging fans who wish to camp to be quick to secure their camping pass asap to avoid disappointment, as there are limited camping spots available.
