With a disappointing turnout in the twin shock classes at both the 2024 and 2025 events the promoters for the 2026 Farleigh Castle vets held at the historic Grand Prix circuit near Bath on the Somerset border, had withdrawn the twin shock class when the class list for the 2026 Farleigh Castle Vets MX event was announced in January. Taking to social media twin shock riders expressed their disappointment.
However, the promoters of the event were open to suggestions and reinstating the class if it got enough backing. Having taken all the feedback onboard they have opened a Twin Shock class which will have a spilt entry and scoring for a +30 and +50 age.
The entries for this group will be open for one week, opening at 5pm on Thursday, February 5th. Riders have one week to get their entry in so the promoters can gauge interest, if it’s a full gate then its 100% game on. Entries for the twin shock class close on Thursday, February 12th at 5pm.
