The Dakar Rally is heading toward a thrilling finale. Skyler Howes claimed victory in the penultimate stage, finishing ahead of Adrien Van Beveren and Edgar Canet.
Luciano Benavides crossed the line in fourth place, which was enough to reclaim the overall lead in the standings. The gap to Ricky Brabec is just 23 seconds, setting the stage for an exciting showdown in the final stage.
Belgian rider Jerome Martiny finished the stage in 28th position, while Ian Olthof completed the day in 40th place.
