Arenacross will ramp up the fan experience for the opening round of the 2026 Tour at bp pulse LIVE, Birmingham, with an all-new Fan Zone opening from 4pm on show day (Saturday 31 January). This open paddock-style experience, included with every ticket, gives fans unrivalled access to the world of Arenacross — from meeting riders and teams, such as Dean Wilson and his Armor Vision St Blazey team, to getting up close with the race bikes and behind-the-scenes set-up. Staged in the Forum Live area at the centre of the arena, the Fan Zone brings Arenacross to life before the gate even drops, with the stars of the show right there among the crowd.
From 4pm, fans will be invited into a dedicated open paddock area, offering a rare opportunity to step directly into the teams’ environment and experience the sport at close quarters. Instead of pro riders being hidden away out of reach, they will be available to talk to fans, share a few tricks of the trade, take selfies and of course sign autographs — creating a level of access far beyond a traditional signing session.
“I’m excited to introduce the Fan Zone to the BP Pulse Live Arena,” said Arenacross owner and promoter Matt Bates. “It was a big hit in the past and more recently in Abu Dhabi last year, and the knowledge of the fanbase here is far higher so it will have a lot of fans extremely excited to meet their heroes. I have to give massive thanks to all the teams and riders for agreeing to give up their free time and participate in this brilliant concept that will certainly win many of them a stack of new fans.”
As well as meeting the riders, fans will also be able to view the bikes up close and speak with team staff, gaining a real insight into the professionalism of modern Arenacross set-ups — from preparation and presentation through to the work carried out by mechanics and crew. With the Fan Zone included at no extra cost, ticket-holders are encouraged to arrive early and make the most of the added access before the main show begins.
