The 2026 Yamaha YZ BLU CRU FIM Europe Cup is gathering serious momentum, with 550 riders from 28 countries already set to line up on the starting gate. Registration remains open until midnight CET on March 2, 2026, but with numbers climbing rapidly, the race to secure a place is well underway, so make sure you sign up now.
The surge in early registrations builds on a landmark 2025 season, which attracted over 800 entries and saw 112 riders race alongside MXGP stars at the YZ BLU CRU FIM Europe Cup SuperFinale, held at the MXGP of Sweden in Uddevalla. It also marked a significant expansion of the global footprint of the BLU CRU project, with the YZ BLU CRU FIM Europe Cup SuperFinale class winners racing in the inaugural YZ BLU CRU World SuperFinale at the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations in the USA.
Further reinforcing its status as Europe’s leading youth motocross development platform, the Yamaha YZ BLU CRU FIM Europe Cup continues to attract a record number of riders aged 8-16 from across the continent racing in either the YZ125, YZ85, or YZ65 classes. At the same time, female participation also continues to grow at a strong pace, representing over 10% of the total entries, a significant milestone that reflects Yamaha’s long-term commitment to making motorsport more accessible and inclusive at every level.
In 2026, these young rippers will battle it out in national qualifiers across the season, once again aiming to secure one of 120 coveted spots at the YZ BLU CRU FIM Europe Cup SuperFinale, this year held at the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations in Ernée, France, from October 2-4.
There, Europe’s next generation of motocross talent will have the chance to showcase their skills to a global audience and compete against riders from Japan, Australia, Canada, the USA, Indonesia, Brazil, and Colombia, underscoring the international appeal of Yamaha’s award-winning BLU CRU program.
At the YZ BLU CRU FIM Europe Cup SuperFinale, the top three finishers in each category, two wildcard riders, and the highest-placed female rider in each class will earn an exclusive invitation to the BLU CRU Masterclass, where the next generation of champions will be identified. This intensive two-day training camp with BLU CRU ambassadors Gautier Paulin, Nancy van de Ven and Brian Jorgensen is where the final overall winners will be selected, based not only on results but also on talent, potential, and attitude.
On offer for the YZ125 class winner is a place on a Yamaha-supported team for a full EMX125 campaign in 2027, racing a GYTR-kitted YZ125, while winners in the YZ85 and YZ65 classes will receive enhanced support from Yamaha Motor Europe for their 2027 seasons.
Registration is free and still open, but time is running out, so check eligibility and register now at https://www.yamaha-racing.com/blu-cru/yz-blu-cru-cup/register/.
