American rider Ricky Brabec won the sixth stage of the Dakar Rally. After a stage lasting more than 3.5 hours, he finished with a lead of 1 minute and 14 seconds over Tosha Schareina. Daniel Sanders followed 1 minute and 17 seconds behind to take third place. Skyler Howes and Adrien Van Beveren completed the top five.
Belgian rider Jérôme Martiny finished 24th today, while Ian Olthof came in 43rd.
After six stages, Sanders leads the overall standings with a 45-second advantage over Brabec. Luciano Benavides sits in third place, more than ten minutes behind.
Martiny is currently 244th overall, and Olthof completed the first week in 44th position.
