Stage 3 of the Dakar Rally was won by Tosha Schareina of the HRC Honda team. Schareina crossed the finish line more than two minutes ahead of teammate Ricky Brabec. Daniel Sanders finished third and retains the overall lead in the standings. Luciano Benavides and Skyler Howes completed the top five.
After three stages, Sanders leads the general classification with a narrow advantage of just 1 minute and 7 seconds over Brabec. Schareina sits third, only 1 minute and 13 seconds behind the leader. Edgar Canet and Luciano Benavides currently hold fourth and fifth positions respectively.
At the time of writing, Ian Olthof is still on his way to the finish.
