Daniel Sanders is the new leader in the Dakar Rally. Sanders managed to win the second stage today, doing so with a lead of just over one and a half minutes over Edgar Canet. After two stages, the gap between the two is only thirty seconds.
American rider Ricky Brabec remains consistent and finished third today, 1 minute and 46 seconds behind Sanders. Skyler Howes and Tosha Schareina finished fourth and fifth, both at just over three minutes back.
At the time of writing, Dutch rider Ian Olthof is still on the course.
