Steve Holcombe is set to embark on an exciting new chapter of his prestigious enduro career as he joins Sherco Factory Racing for his assault on the Paulo Duarte FIM EnduroGP World Championship, the Italian Enduro Championship, the ISDE, and the French classic enduro Trèfle Lozérien aboard the Sherco SE 300.

One of the sport’s most accomplished racers, Holcombe heads into 2026 focused on putting injury behind him and returning to the sharp end of world enduro. With four EnduroGP world titles to his name, the Brit’s move to Sherco is driven by the desire to reset, regroup, and launch a new title challenge on two-stroke machinery.
Holcombe’s past achievements demonstrate an ability to adapt and deliver under pressure. He’s secured EnduroGP crowns in 2017, 2018, 2020 and 2023, added Enduro2 titles in 2020 and 2023, and collected Enduro3 world championships in 2016, 2018 and 2019 — a résumé that places him among the most successful riders of his generation.

For 2026, Steve will return to the Enduro3 category on Sherco’s SE 300 – the bike that New Zealand’s Hamish MacDonald piloted to Enduro3 World Championship success in 2025.
With the 2026 EnduroGP World Championship calendar set across seven rounds — beginning in Italy and travelling through Spain, Finland, Portugal (double-header), France and Wales — Holcombe and Sherco will begin their preparations with a clear objective: arrive ready to fight for victories from the opening GP and remain in contention for the EnduroGP title all year long.

Steve Holcombe: “I’m super pleased to share that I’ll be racing with Sherco in 2026. I’ve been fortunate to achieve a lot in my career so far, but my drive to compete at the very top level hasn’t changed. This new project is a big motivator for me — new people, a new bike, and a new challenge. The SE 300 is a bike I’m really excited about, and I’m looking forward to working closely with the team so we can start the season strong and push for the results we all want.”
