The 2026 Yamaha YZ BLU CRU FIM Europe Cup is off to a flying start with an impressive 430 entries already confirmed. Registration remains open until midnight CET on March 2nd, 2026 – the countdown is on.
Solidifying its position as Europe’s leading youth development program, Yamaha’s YZ BLU CRU Cup continues to attract elite talent from across the continent. Young guns aged 8-16 will battle through national qualifiers for their shot at glory at the prestigious YZ BLU CRU FIM Europe Cup SuperFinale. A key highlight of the early entry data is the continued growth in female participation, which is approaching 10% of total entries, underscoring Yamaha’s commitment to ensuring motorsport is accessible to all.
Building on 2025’s spectacular season that saw over 800 entries and 112 riders competing alongside MXGP heroes at the MXGP of Sweden in Uddevalla, the 2026 campaign continues to elevate. This year’s podium finishers along with two wild cards earned exclusive invitations to the BLU CRU Masterclass, while each of the SuperFinale race winners made history by securing spots at the inaugural YZ BLU CRU World SuperFinale which took place at the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations in the USA.
In 2026, 120 riders from global BLU CRU qualifiers will battle for their place on the gate at the 2026 YZ BLU CRU FIM Europe Cup SuperFinale, which will be held at the legendary Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations in Ernée, France, October 2-4. From the SuperFinale, the top three finishers, two wildcard entries, and the highest-placed female rider in each class will earn an exclusive invitation to the BLU CRU Masterclass. It is from this intensive, two-day training camp with BLU CRU legends Gautier Paulin, Brian Jorgensen, and Nancy van de Ven that the overall winners will be selected, based on their talent, potential, and attitude.
The YZ125 class winner will secure a coveted spot on a Yamaha Supported team to contest the entire EMX125 championship in 2027 on a GYTR-kitted YZ125, while the winners in the YZ85 and YZ65 classes will receive added support from Yamaha Motor Europe for their 2027 campaigns.
