Yamaha Extends Partnership with VHR and Announces EMX250 Move for Mano Faure & Jarne Bervoets in 2026

Yamaha Motor Europe is thrilled to announce the extension of its successful partnership with VHR, with VHR continuing to operate the Yamaha Official EMX250 team through the 2026 racing season.

Since the start of its collaboration in 2025, Yamaha and VHR have set the benchmark in the EMX250 class, with Janis Reisulis clinching the 2025 EMX250 title onboard a VHR backed GYTR kitted YZ250F. This milestone underscores a successful first year that has quickly established this partnership as a force to be reckoned with.

Looking to 2026, Yamaha and the VHR Yamaha Official EMX250 team are poised to reveal a new talented young line-up, with young Yamaha stars Mano Faure and Jarne Bervoets stepping up to the EMX250 ranks in 2026.

Both riders arrive with exceptional pedigree. Faure, the reigning Junior Motocross 125cc World Champion and EMX125 championship runner-up, will be joined by Bervoets, a two-time EMX125 round winner and 2023 Junior Motocross 85cc World Championship runner-up.

Together, they will challenge for glory on the championship-winning GYTR-kitted YZ250F. This renewed alliance with VHR, combined with the signing of two of the Yamaha family’s most promising talents, positions the team for continued success at the pinnacle of European motocross.

“We are delighted to reach a new agreement with VHR. Our goal is to win, and to develop riders who can win at the highest level. Continuing with VHR is a key part of that strategy. We have a proven track record together, and the success with Janis Reisulis winning the EMX250 title this year shows the project already has strong foundations. Now, with two huge talents like Mano and Jarne stepping up to the GYTR kitted YZ250F and the VHR Yamaha Official EMX250 team, we are incredibly excited for the future. We have all the ingredients to fight for more titles.”
