HRC Honda Factory rider Jo Shimoda was injured during testing last week.
In a post on Instagram, the Japanese rider confirmed the rumors that had been circulating in recent days, stating that he has broken a vertebra.
“Yesterday I underwent successful surgery, and fortunately I can still move everything, so in that regard I’ve been very lucky.
Unfortunately, I will be out for a while. I’m very disappointed, but I promise to come back stronger,” said Jo.
