Yamaha Motor Europe is delighted to announce the winners of the 2025 YZ BLU CRU FIM Europe Cup, following an intense two days of training and assessment at the YZ BLU CRU Masterclass, held at the spectacular MC des Costières circuit in the South of France.
Under the watchful eyes of BLU CRU coaches and motocross royalty Gautier Paulin, Brian Jørgensen and Nancy van de Ven, a dynamic group of riders aged 10 to 16 proved their potential. These young talents earned their invitations through standout performances at the 2025 YZ BLU CRU FIM Europe Cup SuperFinale, which took place at the MXGP of Sweden in mid-August.
The exceptional level of talent on display made the final selection a challenging task for the committee of coaches. Ultimately, it was Drew Stock, Leo Gajser and Tymon Andrzejewski who stood out in their respective categories.
In the YZ125 class, 16-year-old Briton Drew Stock was selected from an extremely high-level group of riders as the winner. Stock will step up to contest the EMX125 championship aboard a GYTR kitted YZ125 in 2026 with the backing of a Yamaha supported team.
In the YZ85 class, it was 13-year-old Slovenian Leo Gajser who was identified as a promising prospect, becoming the first-ever Slovenian winner of the YZ BLU CRU Cup. Meanwhile, in the YZ65 class, it was 11-year-old Pole Tymon Andrzejewski who took the top honour, marking the first win for Poland. Both will receive support from Yamaha Motor Europe for their 2026 seasons.
After the resounding success of the 2025 YZ Cup, the stage is set for 2026. A further 120 riders from YZ BLU CRU Cups and Challenges around the world will compete to win a place on the gate at the YZ BLU CRU FIM Europe Cup SuperFinale, which will take place at the prestigious Monster Energy Motocross of Nations in Ernee, France, October 2-4.
The YZ BLU CRU Cup is open to all Yamaha riders aged between 8 and 16 years racing a YZ65, YZ85 or YZ125 and is free to join. For more information or to check if you’re eligible, click HERE.

Yamaha BLU CRU Ambassador
“Selecting the YZ BLU CRU Cup winners this year was a real challenge. Every year, the level of the riders improves, not just in raw speed, but in technical ability, attitude, and consistency. It’s impressive to see such young riders show incredible discipline and structure—a lot of which comes down to their families and support teams, so hats off to them as well.
The level in each category was extremely high, and the riders were all so closely matched that it made the decision really tough. Although only one rider per class could win, every single participant impressed us during the Masterclass, and we’re proud to be part of their journey.
On behalf of all the coaches and Yamaha, we’d like to thank everyone who attended—we truly enjoyed our time with you. Congratulations to the winners! And to those who didn’t win this time: be proud and keep working hard – you are definitely on the right path!”
