OC1 and Plus MX Become the Official Promoter of the Polish Motocross Championship and Polish Cup for 2026–2029

A new era for Polish motocross with MXGP expertise

Polish motocross is entering a new, dynamic stage of development. Plus MX Tomasz Banaszak, owner of the recognized European brand OC1 which is MXGP official technical partner, has obtained promoter rights for the organization of the Polish Motocross Championship and Polish Cup in 2026–2029, under an official agreement with the Polish Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (PZM).

Tomasz Banaszak, an entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in motorsport, has long been involved in the international motocross scene, particularly through OC1’s technical partnership with the MXGP World Championship. Now, this experience and network are being brought directly to the national level, setting a new standard for motocross events in Poland.

“Our goal is to deliver world-class motocross for Polish riders and fans. We have the tools, we have the partners, and we have clear objectives. It is time to professionalize our sport,” emphasizes Banaszak.

Ambitious plans – starting the revolution with the tracks

One of the key pillars of the project is the modernization of Polish motocross tracks: more challenging, yet safer.

To achieve this, some of the world’s leading track specialists have been brought on board:

  • Freddy Verherstraeten – MXGP World Championship track designer and operator
  • Gabi Villada – MXGP World Championship track designer and operator

These are the experts who prepare venues in the global MXGP calendar. Their knowledge and experience will now be applied across Poland.

First milestone – the Prabuty track rebuilt to world standards

The first track modernization is already completed. The motocross facility in Prabuty has been successfully redesigned and upgraded, bringing a new level of riding experience and safety.

This project would not have been possible without strong support from the local community.

Special thanks go to the Mayor of Prabuty and the local club Eat My Dirt, who actively contributed to making this significant step for motocross in the region a reality.

Elevating Polish motocross to a new level

The main objectives of the project include:

  • raising the level of rider safety
  • introducing world-class organizational standards
  • increasing event appeal for spectators and media
  • strengthening Poland’s position on the international motocross scene

Plus MX also plan to enhance the media presence of the sport and activate stronger engagement from sponsors and business partners, ensuring that motocross in Poland receives the attention and professional framework it deserves.

The beginning of a new chapter

The 2026–2029 cycle is set to become a breakthrough period in which Polish motocross takes a major step toward modernity and sporting professionalism.

“We have great ambitions — and we are determined to achieve them. We are ready to take Polish motocross to a level it has never seen before,” sums up Tomasz Banaszak.
