The opening round of the Australian Supercross Championship in Redcliffe saw Dean Wilson and Lux Turner claim top honors.
In the SX1 (450) class, Wilson dominated the night by winning both main events, securing the overall victory ahead of Luke Clout (3-2) and Cedric Soubeyras (2-4). Aaron Tanti and Hayden Mellross completed the top five.
In the SX2 (250) class, Lux Turner claimed the overall win with 1-4 results, ahead of Alex Larwood (3-2) and Thomas Wood (6-3). Wilson Todd and Ryder Kingsford finished fourth and fifth respectively.
Reigning champion Shane McElrath endured a difficult start to his title defense, finishing only 17th in the first race, but bounced back to take the win in race two.
