Haiden Deegan will not be part of the American team at the MX of Nations this coming weekend. Deegan broke his collarbone on September 20 during the SuperMotocross finale in Las Vegas and underwent surgery the following Monday to have a plate inserted.
Deegan had hoped his recovery would be quick enough to allow him to still compete for Team USA at the MX of Nations. Today, he trained on the bike and was able to ride, but when he picked up the pace he experienced too much pain. As a result, the team has decided to replace Deegan with Justin Cooper.
