“I once again had a strong race in Saturday’s qualifying race. Unfortunately, I hit the gate at the start, putting me in last place. I fought back strongly and finished tenth, earning one point and achieving my best qualifying result of the season.

Unfortunately, Sunday didn’t go entirely smoothly. In the first moto, I crashed heavily on the opening lap and injured my knee. I lost a significant amount of time in this crash, but fought my way back to fourteenth place in the race. In the second moto, I worked my way up strongly after a poor start. During the race, it started raining heavily, and the track quickly turned into a mud pit. These are conditions I like, and i was riding well, finishing in sixth place when the red flag fell due to the weather. Ultimately, the race was postponed two laps, and I was classified 7th, the best moto result of the season, and 12th overall.

It feels good to end a tough year with these strong flyaways. As always, a big thank you to the Dixon Racing Team, Abrex-Logistics, and all the sponsors and people who made this possible.”

Steve Dixon – Team Owner / Manager

“Taylor raced the British with a 5th and a 3rd, narrowly missing the podium with a 4th overall and 4th in the championship standings. Kay did really well, finishing off the last race in 6th, although due to changes in the race result from the red flag, he ended up in 7th. The tricky conditions were tough for many of the bikes, but the Kawasaki and all the sponsor parts held up perfectly.

Stuart, Kay’s mechanic, did a great job with 3 strong rides at the 3 flyaways.

A massive thanks to all the sponsors throughout the year. We’re already working hard towards 2026, with our final plans announced soon, although I can say we’ll be competing in the MX2 World Championship and the MX1/MX2 British Championship. It’s been a tough season with Bobby’s injuries and with Courtney’s illness, not allowing her to compete at all in the WMX series, but we look ahead to a strong year.”
