Jens Walvoort of BTS Racing finished inside the top ten in the final round of the MX2 World Championship in Darwin, Australia.
The Darwin circuit was new, but the riders were very enthusiastic about it.
In the first moto, Walvoort came out of the opening lap in fourteenth position and immediately went on the attack. Throughout the race, he worked his way up to eleventh place and managed to hold this position until the finish.
Just after the start of the second moto, heavy rain began to fall, and it continued for the rest of the race. It became a true test of endurance for both riders and their machines, but Jens delivered a strong performance. By keeping mistakes to a minimum, he secured an impressive ninth place.
With these results, he finished tenth overall on the day and concluded the championship in nineteenth place in the final standings.
