Jeffrey Herlings claimed victory in the MXGP Qualifying Heat. Just moments before the start, the Dutchman was seen dealing with a fogged-up set of goggles, but he remained unfazed. After taking the holeshot, Herlings controlled the race from the front and never looked back.
Tim Gajser kept the pace and secured second place ahead of Romain Febvre in third. Current World Championship runner-up Lucas Coenen finished in seventh position.
Among the other Dutch riders, Calvin Vlaanderen delivered a strong performance in sixth, Glenn Coldenhoff crossed the line in tenth, and Brian Bogers wrapped up the race in eighteenth.
