The season ends early for Van Venrooy KTM and Cas Valk

It has been a positive return to the MXGP paddock for the Van Venrooy KTM team after taking a year away from racing. For 2025, the team had the opportunity to return to the paddock and work with young Dutch talent, Cas Valk who has had a solid season.

For his rookie season in the MX2 World Championship, Valk has impressed with consistent speed and maturity. With two rounds of the series still to run, he sits eleventh in the championship standings – a strong season for his rookie season.

The original plan was for the team and Valk to contest the entire championship calendar. However, following the Turkish round, the decision has been made mutually that they will not make the long trips to China and Australia for the final two events.

Despite ending the campaign earlier than expected, the Van Venrooy KTM squad are satisfied with their progress in 2025 and are already looking ahead. The goal for 2026 will be to build on the solid foundation laid this year and aim for even stronger results.
