Kay Karssemakers – MX2
“Turkey GP was not bad, but also not the best; but more good than bad for sure. P11 in qualifying, my riding felt really good. In the beginning, things went well, and the last lap was the best. The first moto I wasn’t happy with, but it did get some ok laps in towards the end. The second moto started better and I was able to push on, finishing 13th, which is quite ok. Now I’m looking forward to a new track in China this weekend.”
Steve Dixon – Team Owner / Manager
“It was a good, solid weekend with some intense battles. 11th qualifying on Saturday. 16th and 13th in the races. I feel that with each race, we’re getting more and more information towards our return to MX2 next year. It’s down to the finer engine tuning and suspension to take Kay to the next level. These sorts of things are done in the winter, which we didn’t have the privilege of with Kay. Our remit for these 9 weeks with Kay was progress and data. We’re happy with the path we’re on, and the Kawasaki 250 is a great base for us to work from.
We now look forward to China and Australia to round off the season.”
