Jeffrey Herlings completed a perfect weekend in Arnhem by winning both motos as well as the qualifying heat, securing the full 60 points on offer. Once again, Glenn Coldenhoff grabbed the holeshot, but Herlings wasted no time in taking over the lead. For much of the race it looked like a controlled victory for the Dutchman, until a charging Lucas Coenen closed right up to his rear wheel in the final stages. Behind the leading pair, Tim Gajser finished third while Coldenhoff crossed the line in fourth. Brian Bogers also impressed with a strong ride to sixth, while championship leader Romain Febvre had to settle for eighth.
