Kay de Wolf delivered a strong performance to win the opening MX2 moto at the Dutch Grand Prix in Arnhem. Behind the Husqvarna rider, Sacha Coenen finished second with Italy’s Andrea Adamo taking third.
De Wolf had to fight hard for victory after emerging from the first corners in eighth place. World Championship leader Simon Längenfelder also staged an impressive comeback, but a crash on the final lap dropped him to eighth at the finish.
