It was a Dutch one-two in the MXGP class, as Jeffrey Herlings claimed victory in the qualifying race ahead of compatriot Glenn Coldenhoff. Coldenhoff led the opening stages but was overtaken by Herlings at the halfway point. World Championship leader Romain Febvre crossed the line in third, followed by Lucas Coenen and Tim Gajser. Brian Bogers also impressed with a strong ride to seventh place, securing a spot inside the top ten.
