Lynn Valk suffered a major setback during the opening moto of the Women’s class in Arnhem. After going down at the start, she made a strong charge back through the field. However, a heavy crash in the wave section resulted in a broken lower leg.
Valk had been battling for third place in the championship standings, but this injury unfortunately ends her hopes of achieving that goal this season.
