Czech motocross rider Viteszlav Marek has announced the premature end of his 2025 season due to ongoing hip problems. After surgery in early 2024 and an intensive winter preparation, the injury resurfaced, preventing him from riding at full capacity.
Despite this setback, Marek claimed a win in the 125cc qualifying at the OPEN Czech Championship in Vranov against 250cc riders, and finished 6th at the Junior World Championship in the 125cc class. Following consultations with doctors, the decision was made to undergo another surgery.
“Motocross has always been my number one priority, but we only have one health,” said Marek. “I hope to return to the Czech Championship once I’m fully recovered.”
Marek expressed his gratitude to sponsors and supporters for standing by him during this challenging period.
